Personal Training
Personal training is available to young and old, all abilities including beginners to advanced athletes and the disabled.
Do you:

An initial free 30 minute consultation will be given. This gives you the chance to meet Todd, find out more about his type of training, how he gets results, and to ask any questions before committing to the Holistic Assessment and Consultation.
Holistic Assessment and Consultation and what's involved.
- Extensive Lifestyle Assessment: this assesses the clients physical condition and stress level, e.g. work, home life, sleep/wake cycles, eatting and drinking habits and a summary of their medical history.
- Metabolic Typing Assessment: this is designed to direct you towards a diet plan that is right for your body, based on your nutritional requirements.
- Postural and Functional Assessment: this looks at you joint alignment, flexibility and movement patterns. Recording of spinal curvature measurements and any weak or unstable structures in the body. Designed to minimise risk of injury and unnecessary strain. Used to develop a personalised rehabilitation programme.
- Consultation: during the consultation, results from the questionnaires and assessments are explaned. Lifestyle changes, timescales, and goals are discussed and agreed. This is an opportunity for the client to air thoughts and queries.
Results from your assessment and questionnaires will be used by Key PT to design an individual programme. Key PT will ensure all clients have a sufficient level of foundation conditioning before moving on to developmental training (see below)
Foundation Conditioning
Key PT aims to decrease any pain, possibility of wear and tear on your structures (e.g. joints, muscles, tendons.) and minimise risk of injury. Using corrective exercise, we will get you moving naturally and in a state of balance before increasing intensity and load. You will start seeing changes to your overall fitness, greater mobility, and the feeling that less effort is needed to perform day to day tasks.
Developmental Training
The Excitement begins here, this is where the level of training is significantly increased and you really start to reach your goals! During this stage you develop lean muscle mass and reduce body fat. The intensity of the preparation you have done with Key PT up to this stage now pay off ? results are speedy and much more apparent!
Performance
Now at your fittest, and feeling lean and strong, it?s all about applying strength as powerfully and accurately as you can. It is hard work and you will need to be extremely focused, but the results are very rewarding.
During each training phase, a variety of exercises will be scheduled to develop all appropriate muscle groups, and to prevent boredom setting in. Todd believes strongly that exercise should be fun, and programme variety is an essential ingredient.
Todd provides a Home service for delivery of all his Personal Training programmes and exercises. This means that you can enjoy the benefits of your individual sessions in the comfort of your own home, and you do not have to travel to attend a gym. Todd provides all necessary equipment for the exercise session, and all the client needs to do is provide a clear area about 8" x 8" for the exercises.
